Portraits

I have long been a advocate of dynamic, well structured portraiture but I will add that I’m NOT a “Sit there and smile” snapper. I prefer to spend time with my clients and get to know who they are first and for me, its so important that both the subject and photographer are at ease.

My real passion is for natural and unforced portraiture and childrens portraiture is at the forefront of my portfolio, with children of my own I never seem to be without a camera in my hand! The great part about digital is the volume of shots to take are now almost unlimited so I hardly miss a shot, its a good job as children rarely want to stay put.

More recently I have been shooting in and around Knutsford for a reportage appeal and this has proved to be successful. Knutsford is a historical and quite picturesque town with a host if interesting buildings, streets and public spaces. As I’m based in Knutsford I am pretty capable of traveling anywhere in the county
