It’s the beginning of the season for Knutsford Hockey Club and the sad departure of a real club treasure Janice T but what a send off. In this gallery you will see the effort that the club went to in organising a really great family fun day fundraiser. Granted the weather was unpredictable but wth regular breaks of sunshine everything looked smoothly run and very well managed.
I never know how I should be shooting those bungee things, low, long wide or what… With flash, without flash anyhoo i kinda did everything and picked the best ones. The horrid pink spinney roundy thing ( I say that because is really dislike white knuckle rides) was interesting to shoot, definitely a combination of a slower shutter, tight apature (thanks to the sunshine) and tracking with AI focus to get the results showing a point of focus and motion at the same time… get that?
More donkeys… had plenty of practice there… Loved the boy with the circus trick… he really practiced hard flicking it about until he took one to the face. I didn’t laugh. Honest.
So thats it, great work KHS look forward to next year and er… buy the Knutsford Guardian on wednesday (15th sept 2010) I am told that some of the shots will be in there.!
